A Good Book Opens With Interest And Closes With Profit

A good book opens with interest and closes with profit

A great truth: a good free opens with interest and closes with profits full of the heart.

Passionate readers know that reading is more than a pleasure because reading transports our thoughts and emotions to the distant lands of our mind.

Reading makes us happy and free. In fact, as good friends of books assert, great authors make us better people, prepared to make creative and reasonable decisions.

As Cortazar says, “a book begins and ends long before and long after its first and last page”.

Merging with a good book makes us more satisfied in life

According to a study from the University of Rome III where more than 1,100 people were interviewed, it seems that readers are much more satisfied with their lives and that they feel happier than people who don’t read.

According to Nuccio Ordine: “ nourishing the mind can be as important as nourishing the body”.

So, as seen in several studies that use functional magnetic resonance to examine the brains of readers before and after reading a book, our brains feed off the stories we read and the learning we learn from them.

It’s not something new, but it’s amazing to watch how the connections between the central sulcus of the brain, the primary sensory motor region, the primary temporal cortex, and other language-related areas multiply.

Heart-book

And more so, when reading a book, we are successful in reducing stress and boosting our emotional intelligence, self-awareness, empathy, and psychological development.

Since we can identify with ourselves and learn to think in other ways, we can also change our behaviors, understand others more easily, and take in lessons that can help us resolve moral and emotional dilemmas.
